Welcome

Welcome to All Saints CE Primary School Website. We are very proud of our school here at All Saints. The children are at the heart of every decision we make as well as our strong Christian ethos and values of courage, honesty, respect, friendship and trust, all of which underpins everything that we do.

At All Saints we aim to ensure that our school is a secure, inclusive and caring environment where everyone is valued and respected. We all work hard to ensure all children are nurtured and given every opportunity to thrive and achieve their very best.

Growing Stronger Together : The school has a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, and the other schools in the St. Christopher’s Multi Academy Trust. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school; parents, their families and the community are all active partners in their child's education. We are committed to providing a stimulating and motivating learning environment, one that equips and prepares our pupils for the 21st Century. We believe that everyone in school should enjoy their learning and feel proud of their achievements whilst developing a lifelong love of learning, we hope to help our pupils to live a full and happy adult life.

The purpose of this website is to inform current and prospective parents about the life of our school; its ethos, aims and values. We hope the site will be informative and enjoyable to view and parents will visit it on a regular basis. This website will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us. If you have suggestions to make about its content and design or would like to see us at work please contact me. Visits are most warmly welcome.

The life skill of team work is embedded in everything that happens. The future of the school is shaped by children, parents, Governors and the wider community.

We hold an open door policy which allows everybody to contribute; we believe in working in partnership with you to ensure the best for all our children.

All Saints is proud to be part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust.

The vision of the Trust is summed up in the statement, ‘Flourishing Communities’.  Though we are a Trust made up of faith and community schools, our vision is intentionally rooted in the Church of England’s Vision for Education (2016). The CofE vision explores the principle of ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10v10, The Bible) through four strands: dignity, wisdom, life together and hope.  We aim to keep these intrinsic to our pursuit of enabling the flourishing of pupils, parents and staff of all faiths and none as a direct result of being part of our Trust.  Our vision is explored and expressed through our ‘CHRIST’ value of Collaboration, Humility, Respect, Inclusion, Stewardship, Trust.

Overview

All Saints CE Primary School is a Church of England Primary School situated a mile from Axminster.

The school is adjacent to All Saints Parish Church and overlooks the village of Smallridge from its position on high ground. It was built in 1856 and has seen many changes; it has grown from a 2 class school of 14 children (1986) to 4 classes with approximately 114 children on roll.

The school aims to create a happy and caring Christian atmosphere where those who attend feel secure and confident.

We have close links with other schools in East Devon and Exeter and we are a feeder school for Axe Valley Community College although we also have pupils that move onto Woodroffe, Holyrood Academy and Colyton Grammar School.
