School Administration Lead, Exeter, Torbay, East/Mid Devon

35 hours per week , term time/39 weeks per year

£21,322–22,627pa FTE (17,348-18,410 pro-rated)

St Christopher’s are a charitable trust with 600 staff, responsible for 18 primary schools. As Pupil Services Lead, your role will be to support and enable our school administrators across our Exeter, Torbay and East Devon schools, to operate effectively and enable them as the heart of the school to flourish.

 

Initially, this role will be based in Beer Primary School, with the view to changing to another school in the area in time (find out where they’re located on the ‘Our Academies’ section on our website).

 

You’ll have experience of working within a school administration role and have a working knowledge of SIMS, school communication systems and pupil attendance processes. You’ll be a competent user of IT which can adapt to a number of different packages, along with having a keen eye for detail. You’ll be part of a team of 5 within our Pupil Services leadership team across our trust, and report to our School Operations Lead for the area.

St Christopher’s Trust are looking for an individual to join the centralised Operations Administration team, supporting our 18 schools with the smooth running of some of our school systems, procurement and contracts. You’ll be based from either one of our local schools (find out where there are location on the ‘Our Academies’ section on our website), or our Central Office in Exeter.

 

You’ll have experience of working within an administration role and have experience of communicating with contractors and staff. You’ll be a competent user of IT which can adapt to a number of different packages, along with having a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for collating existing data of contracts throughout our schools, assisting in writing tenders for new contracts, maintaining our contracts register;  all supported by our great central operations team and working under the direction of the Operations Manager.
