The highlight of this week has definitely been the Christmas performance. Without a doubt, the show was enchanting and magical. For several weeks, children have been learning songs, lines and stage directions and their hard work has certainly paid off. A performance like that does not come together without the hard work and support of the whole school community. In particular, I’d like to thank the children for their hard work and enthusiasm, the staff for supporting the children, yourselves for helping with costumes, Mr Rouse and Mrs Searle for the stunning backdrop and props and Mrs Brown for organising and directing the performance. I’d also like to thank the PTFA for providing the teas, coffees and sweet treats. All the money raised from the sale of the refreshments is going to Axminster Charities Together as they are organising a Christmas meal on Christmas Day in All Saints Village Hall for all those in the community who will be on their own for the day – thank you for your generous donations.
